Special Order house platter

A customer ordered this platter to give to her parents for Christmas.  It is their former home.  The present owners have changed the yard and house displeasing them.  Now her family will have a permanent image of their home as they remember it, always spring with their garden in bloom.

I have a  Ruth Cox painting of my childhood home, it was a gift from my mother one Christmas and it does the EXACT same thing for me.  I can let the real house go, because I have this beautiful reminder, and the memories that go with it.

Hi Kathleen,
Your plates are beautiful! I am friends with Cindi Bronen and she told me about your work? Can you tell me what kind of alcohol you use to wipe down the plates and what temperature the plates get baked at? Thanks. Debby N from Morristown, NJ

Hi Debby
I use regular ol' rubbing alcohol to wipe the plates, then they bake at 300-325 depending on which paint. I just do whatever the Pebeo bottle says :-)
YOu let the paint dry for at least 24 hours before baking, place into your cool oven, set temp., bake 35 minutes, turn oven off and crack open door, let them cool in oven... Voila! YOu're done.
